EUROAVIA Patras is proud to host the 2025 ExMEAC & AMEAC from the 20th to the 27th of September 2025!
Being the third largest city in Greece, Patras is renowned for its rich culture and history, vibrant nightlife, memorable sunsets, and of course, the Patras Carnival!
The ExMEAC & AMEAC 2025 is aimed to work as a platform where representatives from as many Affiliated Societies as possible get together to discuss paramount topics that will help shape the future of EUROAVIA.
Patras is a well-connected city both to the capital city of Athens and to international destinations.
From Athens
From Athens Airport, take the train to Patras.
You can book your tickets from the Hellenic Train website, mobile app, or the ticket office at the airport's train station.
This option includes two scheduled connections. At Kato Acharnai Station, there is a change of trains (same platform, opposite side). At Kiato Station, the rail service terminates. From there, you take a bus directly to Patras (bus will be awaiting at the station's entrance). Tickets for all trains and buses are included in your initial purchase.
25% Discount for university students is available both online and at the ticket office, by presenting your student card.
The one-way cost for the train option from the Airport to Patras is 15.10€, including the 25% discount, and takes approximately 3.5 hours.
From Athens Airport, take the X93 Express bus to Kifissos Central Bus Station (Tap-to-Pay available). From there, take the bus to Patras (Both express and non-express options are available at the same price).

25% discount for university students is available online, only on the Greek version of the website. The discount is also available if you physically buy the ticket at the station, by presenting your student card.
The one-way cost from the Airport to the Kifissos bus station is 5.5€ using the Tap-to-Pay method (2.7€ if you buy a ticket presenting your student card). The X93 bus takes approximately 65 minutes to reach the bus station.
The one-way cost from the Kifissos bus station to Patras is 15.4€, including the 25% student discount. The Express bus takes approximately 2.5 hours to reach Patras.
Other means of travel
Positioned in close proximity to the Ionian and Adriatic seas, there are daily ferry trips to and from the cities of Bari, Ancona, and Venice! The ferry is operated by Superfast Ferries.
Fly to one of the Regional Airports (Araxos, Kalamata, Kefalonia, Preveza, Zakinthos) and take a bus to Patras.

The number of participants for both ExMEAC and AMEAC will be 60 to distribute among the (P)AS/AM and the Working Groups
IB and DIB officers' participation will be considered within the 60 regular participations.

Confirmation emails for the applicants will be sent to each (P)AS. Once the membership is confirmed, personal confirmation emails with a reminder of the cancellation rules plus the payment information will be sent to every accepted participant in this first round

Participants can apply only for the AMEAC (21st of September – 27th of September 2025), or for both the ExMEAC & the AMEAC (20th of September - 27th of September 2025)
During both rounds of applications (P)AS/AM/WG have the possibility to deliver a priority list for their participants. If (P)AS/AM/WG do not provide a priority list within 7 days after the confirmation email is sent to them, the “first-come, first-served” criteria will be applied for the priority list of applicants from said (P)AS/AM/WG.
The priority to accept the participants until Quorum is achieved will be given to:
1. DIB Candidates, DIB Officers, IE Tutor. The conditions to apply as such are defined in the DIB call. For more information contact the International Board at ib@euroavia.eu.
2. The priority list provided will be modified in order to privilege those who would attend both ExMEAC and AMEAC over those who would attend only one of the two Congresses.
3. First (1) member of the priority list of every AS, following the “first-come first-served” criteria among the different AS.
After Quorum is achieved and every first member of all the AS priority lists are accepted, second priority will be given to:
1. First (1) member of the priority list of every AM, following the “first-come first-served” criteria among the different AM
2. First (1) member of the priority list of every WG, following the “first-come first-served” criteria among the different WGs
3. First (1) member of the priority list of every PAS, following the “first-come first-served” criteria among the different PAS
4. Second (2) member of the priority list of every AS, following the “first-come first-served” criteria among the different AS.
5. Second (2) member of the priority list of every PAS/AM/WG, following the“first-come first-served” criteria among the different PAS/AM/WG.
6. Third (3) member of the priority list of every (P)AS/AM/WG, following the“first-come first-served” criteria among the different (P)AS/AM/WG.
7. Fourth (4) member of the priority list of every (P)AS/AM/WG, following the “first-come first-served” criteria among the different (P)AS/AM/WG.
If after the closing of the first round of applications the Quorum is not reached, only the first person of the priority order of every AS will be accepted and then the second round of applications will be open.
Participants can apply only for the ExMEAC (20th – 22nd of September 2025), only for the AMEAC (21st - 27th of September 2025), or for both the ExMEAC & the AMEAC (20th - 27th of September 2024).
The participation fee is:
Only AMEAC: 140€, which covers 6 nights (21st - 27th of September 2025) of accommodation and every meal, including final dinner.
Both ExMEAC & AMEAC: 160€, which covers 7 nights (20th - 27th of September 2025) of accommodation and every meal, including welcome dinner and final dinner.
The payment information regarding the participation fee will be provided to the participants via email, once confirmed.
Arrival and departure will be paid for by the participants and must be arranged by them. EUROAVIA Patras will not provide accommodation outside of the event dates. However, if a participant needs to stay extra days, EUROAVIA Patras will assist them in finding proper accommodation.
In the case that a member has been confirmed by the organizing committee to participate in the ExMEAC/AMEAC but, for any reason, is unable to participate in the event, there is an option of cancelling the participation.
In order to do so, the member must send an email to exmeacameac2025@euroavia.eu (no other way of communication will be considered valid for cancellation) stating the reason for the cancellation, and the participation fee will be partially/fully paid, based on the criteria displayed on the Application & Cancellation document below.
